Agents & APIFree public preview

Bobby research.
Ready for your agent.

Bring stock context and market evidence into the tools you already use. Connect through MCP, or read the same public research sources with a simple JSON request.

Connect in one step

Read-only · No API key

Add this URL as a remote MCP server in a compatible agent client. Choose Streamable HTTP if it asks for a transport. The free connection needs no sign-in or brokerage account.

Your client discovers the tools after connecting. Opening the endpoint in a browser alone does not run a tool.

Three ways to get the picture

01

Read a stock

A quote, daily price history, and recent supporting evidence for one ticker.

get_free_stock_brief

{ "ticker": "NVDA" }

Open NVDA JSON
02

Compare two names

Put two stocks or ETFs side by side, with the same evidence and time labels.

compare_two_stocks_free

{ "tickers": ["NVDA", "MSFT"] }

Open comparison JSON
03

Check the market

Bobby’s latest cached market pulse, its drivers, and when it was observed.

Prefer a plain request?

Every agent can use the versioned read-only API. Start with a market pulse:

curl https://bobby.markets/api/v1/market-pulse

Evidence with a time attached

Quotes may be delayed. Each quote and pulse includes an observation time and an age label; news and signals carry their own dates. Missing values stay unknown. An older observation never becomes fresh just because an agent asked for it again.

This is research context. It is not a trading feed or a promise of a profitable trade.

Your account stays yours

Public tools cannot read private portfolios, balances, journals, or brokerage credentials. They cannot place orders. Existing personalized tools still require your permission, sign-in, and active Bobby Pro access.

About the private connection
Freshness, limits, and response states

JSON responses contain apiVersion, generatedAt, and data. Check data.status: even a successful HTTP response can have partial or unavailable data. generatedAt is assembly time; source observation times are separate.

Stock briefs contain up to 64 daily price points, four headlines from the last 48 hours, and three technical signals from the last 72 hours. The public JSON API omits legacy composite social scores.

Data reads are cached for 60 seconds; source caches can be older. Age labels are checked when cached data is assembled. “Older than 24h” also covers weekends and holidays. Use the source timestamp for precise freshness checks.

Best-effort protection limits each server instance to 30 requests per minute per IP. Cache results and respect Retry-After on 429 or 503 responses. This preview has no availability guarantee and does not grant bulk redistribution rights.
